James Place Inn Bed and Breakfast recently had the pleasure of a couple celebrating their one-year anniversary. They spent a week exploring Freeport and the surrounding areas. They managed to achieve a great balance of sightseeing and relaxing, enjoying the week at a leisurely pace. We will spend the next few days posting the highlights of their trip and the sights they saw.
Day 1 – Friday; arrive late afternoon (they are from NJ). Settle in and walk to the local brew pub to stretch their legs and have a casual meal at the local hangout.
Day 2 – Saturday; sleep in and awaken to a full and hearty breakfast. Spend the day walking about Freeport and exploring the shops, checking in to see what Outdoor Discovery School adventures L.L. Bean had to offer. Saturday evening, take in the free concert at Discovery Park featuring bluegrass band Chatam County Line.
