Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens Worth a Visit

The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens are located just 45 minutes from Freeport, Maine in Stone walls retain the soil and edge pathwaysthe delightful area of Boothbay.  The Gardens have become a top attraction and have just won a top award from TripAdvisor.  The Gardens are but six years old and were named No. 1 public garden by Trip Advisor earlier this year.  The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens beat out public gardens the likes of Missouri Botanical Gardens and Longwood Gardens (outside Philadelphia).

The Gardens encompass 250 acres and are attracting close to 100,000 visitors a year.  The Gardens include a children’s garden and a ‘five senses” garden, with plans to add a pier The Stump Jump is fun...and good exercise.and a dock to make the Gardens accessible by boat in the next few years.
