Freeport, Maine July 4th events are sure to delight and there is still time to reserve your Bed and Breakfast stay in Freeport. For all of you runners out there, start with the LL Bean 5K Fun Run and Walk. Cool down from your run while watching the Freeport July 4th parade as it makes its way down Main Street. Enjoy your day strolling Freeport or head to one of the many fabulous beaches and lighthouses close by. Return to Freeport for a delicious dinner before finding a seat to take in the free concert hosted by LL Bean, featuring Matt Nathanson. The concert takes place in Discovery Park (just one block from James Place Inn Bed and Breakfast) and starts at 7:30pm. Wait – there is more to come! Fireworks start at 9:15pm and are always a crowd pleaser! Head on back to James Place Inn for a good night’s rest, followed by a delicious and full breakfast.
Friday, July 5th brings more entertainment in LL Bean’s Discovery Park with kids activities and music going on all day. This fun family-friendly event offers something for everyone and is sure to please both you and your children.
