Harvest On The Harbor

Harvest On The Harbor 2015 is almost here.  This is Maine’s premier food and wine festival, featuring amazing talent from across the state.  In its eighth year, Harvest On The Harbor promises to bring even more of what Maine is renowned for – delectably delicious culinary creations from Maine’s top chefs and producers who take pride in presenting products that are locally grown and responsibly harvested.

Indulge your senses while strolling through the historic Portland Company Complex.  A treat to the eyes and taste buds, this gastronomic extravaganza offers exposure to the best of Maine’s food & beverage elite. Bringing over 120 food artisans, wineries, breweries, distilleries & Maine-made products together under one roof, The Big Eat appeals to the foodies inside us all.

The line up of events is truly amazing this year with eleven events in total.  Things kick off with the Moonlight Gala Wednesday, October 21 at 7:00pm, featuring chefs of the coast.  The Stage Dinner takes place at Merrill Auditorium on Thursday, followed by the highly anticipated Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition Friday, October 23rd.  Other highlight events include Suds+Cider, Vines to Wines, Top of the Crop, Custom Cocktails, Maine Marketplace (Taste the 8 Regions of Maine), Harvest Hop, and Rock ‘N Roast.  No matter your food or beverage preference, there is something for everyone to experience and enjoy.  Harvest on the Harbor, October 21-25, 2015.  Set your sites on Maine and enjoy!

Believing in giving back to the community, the proceeds of Harvest on the Harbor will go towards Good Shepherd Food Bank. The mission of Good Shepherd Food Bank is to eliminate hunger in Maine by sourcing and distributing nutritious food to people in need, building strong community partnerships, and mobilizing the public in the fight to end hunger.
