Our guests have told us that they like our packages; ideas of great things to do and enjoy in the area where we do all of the work in organizing it for you.  The packages here are just a few of the favorites.  You may customize to suit your needs, adding or deleting items.  We’re happy to help so that you can relax and enjoy your stay.

Winter Warmth  (Enjoy Dinner and a Movie)!

Leave it all behind and escape for a cozy getaway.  It’s about time, isn’t it!

Arrive at James Place Inn to the smell of fresh-baked goodies and a warm cup of tea.  Relax in your room by the crackling fire (we keep the wood box well-stocked), or perhaps relax and soak away the stress in one of our deluxe Jacuzzi rooms.  Either way, your getaway is sure to be the thing you need to relax and refresh.  Stroll to a delicious and relaxing meal at Azure Cafe, then take in a movie at Freeport’s new 6-screen movie theater, Nordica Theater.

Package includes two nights in one of our deluxe rooms (fireplace or Jacuzzi), full breakfast for two each morning, bottle of wine or sparkling cider and chocolates to greet you upon arrival, and a $50.00 gift card to enjoy a delicious and relaxing meal at Azure Cafe, and a gift card for Nordica Theater.  Prices are just $460.00.  Based on availability.

Stay, Sail, Dine

Take a delightful Windjammer sail and stay at the James Place Inn for your Maine vacation experience. You will be treated to one of our beautifully appointed queen rooms (Jacuzzie and fireplace rooms available), your choice of beverage, and fresh locally-made chocolates. Two nights at the James Place Inn, including our gourmet breakfast and coffee, will have you well-rested to continue your experience. Enjoy an afternoon or sunset sail aboard “Frances, ” a classic Windjammer, part of Maine Sailing Adventures, sailing out of Portland.  This is a great way to see the beauty of Casco Bay and the Portland skyline.  There is plenty more to do upon your return – we will be happy to make suggestions and supply itineraries. Or enjoy all that Freeport has to offer with your L.L. Bean gift card of $100.00 and relax afterward to a wonderful meal at Azure Cafe – a $50.00 gift card included as well.

Prices start at just $575.00 (double-occupancy) and include two nights at the James Place Inn, your sail for two aboard Frances, a L.L. Bean gift card for $100.00 and an Azure Cafe gift card for $50.00.

Lighthouse Tour

Enjoy the beautiful Maine coast and the many Lighthouses along the way!  Just tell us how much time you have and we will help plan your self-guided tour.  Enjoy the beautiful beaches along the way, pack a picnic lunch or stop at one of the great lobster shacks along the route for a lobster roll sure to please.  (We have our favorite place and we think you will like it, too)!

Return to your cozy room at the James Place Inn and enjoy an evening stroll to a favorite restaurant for more lobster.  Not a lobster fan?  There is plenty more to choose from at Azure Cafe and a $50 gift certificate will get you started enjoying this great dining experience.

Stay, Golf, Dine

For the golf lovers!  Enjoy the beautiful Brunswick Golf Club, just 15 minutes away.  Considered by many to be “the best golf course in Midcoast Maine,” the Brunswick Golf Club offers 18 holes and a driving range for your enjoyment.  Refresh yourself with a snack or cold beverage from the restaurant which overlooks the 9th green from the deck and lounge area.  Return to Freeport and the James Place Inn for a relaxing afternoon and snack on our deck before heading out to a fine dinner at Azure Cafe.

Prices start at just $485.00 for a two night stay for two, your Azure Cafe gift card for $50.00, and your 18 hole greens fees for two for play any day of the week, including weekends.  Based on availability.  (Other room rates also available).  Available April 15 – October 31.

Downeaster Train Pickup

Want to leave the car behind? Take the Downeaster Train into Portland and we will pick you up at the station and deliver you to the Inn and return you to the station when the time comes. No cost to you – it is our pleasure
