We are having the most glorious summer days at James Place Inn here in Freeport and in Maine in general, meaning there is still plenty of time to enjoy these last few weeks of summer. During the past few weeks, many of our guests have been with us for a number of days and have managed to stay plenty busy! This weather, which looks to continue for the next ten days, allowed them to visit our favorite beach, Popham Beach, enjoy a ferry ride in Casco Bay, spend a day taking in Light houses, enjoy a cruise on the Kennebec while visiting the Maine Maritime Museum, take advantage of the LL Bean Outdoor Discovery School with some archery practice…you get the idea! On their sixth and final day of vacation, they had to take a rest. There is so much to see and do and the weather is cooperating with warm days and cool nights.
Summer isn’t over, so come out and enjoy some of the best days of the season. We are here to help you have a great time and relax.
