Truly “Your Special Home Away From Home.”  The James Place Inn Bed & Breakfast in Freeport, Maine is a warm and inviting 1890 Victorian-style home. From the time you enter through the front door you will experience the charm, comfort and exceptional hospitality provided by innkeepers Tori & Robin Baron.  At James Place Inn it’s all about personal service and little touches to enhance your stay, like free wireless internet access throughout the property and afternoon refreshments featuring a wonderful assortment of home baked goods.

Perfectly situated to shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities, our historic Victorian style house has been completely renovated to meet all of your needs.  WI-Fi is available throughout, private baths and flat-screen TVs with DVDs and cable are in every room, (we have a DVD library available to you any time).  We are located on a quiet side street, allowing you to really relax and unwind, enjoying our cafe-style deck for breakfast, or a good book and afternoon tea and snacks.

The James Place Inn B & B is just 1 ½ blocks from LL Bean where you can sign up for instruction for kayaking, fly fishing, or several other activities.  Great walks and hiking are just around the coner and numerous beaches are just thirty five minutes away, offering a long expanse of sand and ocean waves.

There is so much to see and do that you will need a week to fit it all in! From sailing excursions to lobster boat rides to lighthouses to museums, we have it all.
