Amtrak Downeaster to Freeport, Maine – Just $5! You read it right – November 27 & 28, take the train form Boston’s North Station for just $5.00 one way. Most stores will open at 12:01am on Friday, November 28th and will stay open until late Friday evening. Several trains will offer return fares of $5.00 early Friday morning or later in the day. Travel in style with roomy seats, plenty of room for packages, free Wi-Fi, and the café car aboard the Downeaster. Best part, no driving or parking hassles. Leave the driving to them.
