James Place Inn Bed and Breakfast has been nominated for Best Small Business of the Year in Freeport, Maine. Having just learned about this last week, we are thrilled at the news and feel honored at the recognition.
The criteria for selection is “a business with one location that exemplifies best business practices and notably supports the community.” For those of you who have stayed with us, you may have noticed that we take pride in our inn and work hard to make each guest feel welcome, at ease, and cared for. We want our inn to truly feel like your “home away from home.” We realize that each of our guests has limited resources in both time and money and we are pleased when you choose to stay with us. You deserve the best we have to offer and that is what we work to deliver.
The competition for this award is pretty stiff. Some of our favorite places in Freeport have also been nominated. They include Azure Café (our favorite dining destination), Earrings and Company, and Maine Idyll Motor Court. All of these businesses are worthy of the nomination and award. I might be tempted to vote for one of them myself 🙂
