Come join Santa for all of the fun to kick off Moonlight Madness and the official Holiday shopping season. It all starts Thursday, November 22nd at midnight here in Freeport. Santa revs up his Harley to lead the runners for the 4th annual fun run down Maine Street. Runners of all ages show up to run, or chase, Santa through the Freeport shopping area. It is a great way to burn off that Thanksgiving dinner and kick into the holiday spirit. Most stores in Freeport will be open at midnight and there are some great buys to be had. Come join all of the merriment, and Santa, and plan to be in Freeport Thursday night, November 22nd, to get your shopping done early.
We will be offering all of our guests an extended breakfast on Friday morning, serving from 8am to 10am. Don’t want to stop shopping? “Santa” makes a wicked good breakfast sandwhich, packed to go with a cup of coffee. Our guests staying with us Thursday night will also take home a jar of our James Place Inn coffee blend or a jar of Tori’s homemade granola – your choice!
