The Portland Museum of Art is featuring an amazing exhibit of 38 works by Winslow Homer. Recently opened, and runnign through December 30th, the museum exhibition focuses on the 27 years Homer spent on Prout’s Neck (just south of Portland). His studio there, also open to the public for viewing, has views of the rocks and straight out to the Atlantic Ocean. Arguably some of his best work was done here. Give yourself a treat by spending a few hours at the Portland Museum of Art and taking in this one-of-a-kind collection. You’ll be glad you did!
