Take The Downeaster from Boston’s North Station

Take the Downeaster from Boston’s North Station and be in Freeport, Maine in just a little over three hours.  It is such a fun and relaxing way to travel.  Arrive at the train station, board the train and relax, leaving all the rest to Amtrak.  No worries about traffic, no tolls to pay, no weather hassles.  Arrive in Freeport rested and relaxed, having enjoyed a good book, good conversation with your traveling partner, or a nap.  Once at the train platform, a short walk (less than two blocks), puts you at James Place Inn where your room is waiting.
